Heirloom Sessions are my tribute to the timeless Southern tradition of vignette portraiture, bringing a cherished piece of my heritage to New England. Designed for children ages one to six, these portraits are lovingly hand-edited, with a soft vignette that lends a classic, enduring quality. More than just photographs, these sweet images are meant to be treasured for generations—future family heirlooms that capture childhood’s fleeting magic.

Heirloom Events are offered from January to June and September to December on select Saturdays and Sundays in Boston, Connecticut, and Richmond, VA. I’m also open to traveling to additional cities, so please send me a message!
If an Heirloom Event doesn’t fit your schedule, I offer single sessions in my Tiverton, RI studio on weekdays year-round.
Siblings can be included with individual images along with portraits all together. These are discounted with back to back bookings.

These images showcase their entire look and personality against the classic white backdrop in my newly renovated studio space, complemented by a few natural elements like rockers and wooden toys.

A big part of creating heirloom portraits is choosing the perfect outfit for your child. For a true heirloom look, I recommend selecting pieces with details like smocking, lace trim, or other classic touches.
When you book, you'll receive a confirmation email with a curated list of my favorite local boutiques and heirloom brands to help you find the ideal piece.

prints + framing
The final step in the process is choosing your prints, framing, albums and custom composites.
I will assist you in designing the custom artwork that best suits your home.
The goal is ALWAYS to get this precious images in your hands or on your walls.
