Thanks to some good friends that I met while working on boats, I was connected with Caroline & Rob. I immediately fell in love with this sweet couple! Both school teachers, Caroline and Rob initially met through school but reconnected one night at a bar. After a few years dating, Rob popped the question over their Thanksgiving break! He even coordinated for their families to celebrate afterwards with champagne and Caroline’s mom’s famous lasagna!

When they reached out to me about photographing their wedding, I was immediately thrilled to hear of their plans for a big backyard wedding in Duxbury, MA.  Rob’s family farm, Whirligig Farm, was set to be the venue.  I wish you could have seen this place.  Gorgeous landscaped yard, rustic barn, and and a sweet little pond. As you’ll see from the photos below, Caroline and Rob have the most infectious smiles and are so clearly head over heels for one another – they made my job so seem-less and easy. From the big red barn to the vintage truck and great music from the Silver Arrow Band, their wedding was hands down one of my favorites from 2017.
