The pops of color, the fun energy from the couple and their families + friends, and the way the weather cooperated during a VERY rainy wedding season!
“Built in 1873, the historic Eisenhower House was once the summer White House of President Dwight D. Eisenhower. Acquired by the State of Rhode Island in 1960s, this stately mansion commands breathtaking views of Newport Harbor and Narragansett Bay.” Always one of my favorite venues in Newport for its views of the bay, aesthetic of the mansion and porch layout.
I met Liv about 4 years ago when I photographed her sister Sara’s Glen Manor wedding. Their parents also happen to live down the street from us in Tiverton. We clicked immediately and its been such a joy to be a part of two weddings in the family! This family is tight knit, loves color and is FUN!
Liv and Christian are high school sweethearts and have grown up together through the years. Liv knew she wanted a 1960’s style wedding with bright colors and a bubbly event. Her cake design was the inspiration for the day!
One of my favorite parts of the day was Liv’s surprise sign to her mom. Her mom Karen had insisted they add some bling to the tent with hanging disco balls. So, she got her own sign that greeted guests as they entered “Karen’s Poppin’ Tent”. Birch Hill Designs did such an incredible job with the signage for the wedding day. This vintage inspired wedding was a blast!
