There’s something truly iconic about Chatham Bars Inn wedding. Elevated above the ocean with panoramic views and classic Cape Cod architecture, the property feels both grand and deeply intimate. Above all, Chris and Maggie’s June 1, 2025 celebration made the most of a Chatham Bars Inn wedding.

A First Look Above the Ocean

Chris and Maggie chose to share their first look on the lawn, perched high above the water. The Atlantic stretched endlessly behind them, creating a backdrop that felt expansive yet private. It was quiet, emotional, and beautifully framed by the coastal light that makes a Chatham Bars Inn wedding so special.

After that, we all moved to the Inn’s iconic front façade for portraits – timeless, elegant, and unmistakably Cape Cod.

A Ceremony Where Lawn Meets Shoreline

Guests gathered as Maggie made her dramatic walk down the back staircase toward the ceremony space. Here, the manicured lawn transitions into sandy shores and the open ocean beyond. Creamy white and baby blue hydrangeas framed the arbor, soft and classic against the sea breeze.

A Quintessential Cape Cod Cocktail Hour

Afterwards, guests gathered for a quintessential Cape Cod cocktail hour. All of the essentials were present: a raw bar, signature drinks, cornhole on the lawn, and Adirondack chairs overlooking the water to relax in. Sparing no thoughtful detail, Maggie and Chris opted for personalized matchboxes and signature candles adorned with the couple’s monogram – a layer of intention that felt both elevated and welcoming.

Coastal Blues, Beach Portraits & Cotton Candy Skies

Inside the reception, coastal blues, crisp whites, and warm rattan echoed the scenery just beyond – a natural continuation of the oceanfront setting.

As golden hour softened into evening, we slipped down to the beach and dock for portraits. The sky transformed into dreamy cotton candy hues – soft pinks and purples reflecting off the water. Beach access is one of the most sought-after features of a Chatham Bars Inn wedding, and this moment was pure magic.

This venue truly offers it all: iconic architecture, oceanfront ceremony space, beach and dock access, and that unmistakable Cape Cod light. Chris and Maggie’s wedding was a beautiful reminder of just how effortlessly this venue carries a celebration from beginning to end.
