I am always so honored when my wedding clients become clients for life! I photographed John and Maura’s wedding in 2019, then their pregnancy announcement, a Christmas Mini and now a full family session. We got so lucky with a beautiful fall evening for their Blithewold Family Session. Blithewold Mansion in Bristol, RI is always a favorite spot for families especially because of the openness of the property and variety of backdrops. The light was a dream and the property was showing off with its golden foliage, stone walls, and sparkling ocean views.

I try my best to get a good mix of posed and candid moments at family sessions. I know that toddlers have a very limited attention span, so we get the posed photos first, then we play! Lots of running, twirling, snack breaks, throwing kids up in the air, and finding shells. It was so fun catching up with Maura and John at their Blithewold Family Session – I’ve always felt such a connection with this sweet family and I am truly touched to be chosen to capture their growing family!
