Boston Heirloom Portrait Event – March 23, 2025

I am thrilled to announce that I will be hosting an Heirloom Portrait Event in Boston on Sunday, March 23, 2025! This special event will take place in a beautiful studio space in Allston, MA, and I cannot wait to meet and capture new families in the area. There’s something truly special about bringing these timeless vignette portraits to life in a new city.

Why I love Heirloom Portraits

Capturing the fleeting details of childhood brings me so much joy—from the delicate smocked outfits to the soft curls, hand dimples, and the innocent expressions unique to this season of life. These portraits are designed to be treasured for generations, preserving a moment in time in a way that feels both nostalgic and timeless.

I offer these heirloom portraits for children ages 8 months to 8 years, though I have found that the sweet spot is between 3 to 5 years old. Many families choose to celebrate their child’s first birthday with a portrait session, and these are always such treasured milestones to document. However, I also love photographing five-year-olds, like sweet Lottie, who recently visited my studio. At this age, children still have their soft, cherubic features, but they are also growing into their personalities. Their attention spans are a bit longer, and their features are more defined—yet they often haven’t lost their baby teeth, which makes for such a classic look. Lottie’s mother adored her session and plans to bring her two younger siblings for portraits at the same age, creating a beautiful legacy collection.
