Having both grown up on the water in Rhode Island, Kelsey and Nick wanted a Coastal Rhode Island Wedding. Kelsey grew up visiting her grandparent’s Nantucket home every summer, so hydrangeas and a coastal vibe were her style. Glen Manor House was the perfect venue for a Coastal Rhode Island wedding!
Like most love stories, they start out by chance and in the beginning its just a sweet friendship. That’s how Kelsey and Nick got their start. They initially met in high school but no high school love story developed. They had to fast forward 5 years where they met while both working at Newport Hospital. Their friendship and relationship grew until Nick popped the question atop the slopes at Sugarloaf Mountain! Not only that, but he had a photographer there to capture it all – thats my kinda guy!
Kelsey and Nick had one of those typical New England June days – sunny one second, pouring rain the next, and a beautiful sunset to compliment their wedding colors to cap off the night! Luckily Glen Manor offers so many options in terms of photography backdrops both inside and outside – and we utilized them all this day! I just loved how their Coastal Rhode Island Wedding incorporated so many pops of pink with subtle nautical elements and an abundance of hydrangeas for that Nantucket vibe.
