I captured this coastal newborn session in Middletown with Baby Clark and his proud parents! A things blue, quiet snuggles, and sweet moments with mom and dad.

It is always such an honor to capture these quiet moments at home as my clients welcome their newborns. One of the biggest advantages of having a newborn photography session at home is the inherent comfort and convenience. The nursery, family heirlooms, and even favorite family pets can be part of the shoot, helping to tell a story that is deeply personal to the family.

We gathered at their family home in Middletown and opted for a morning session to catch the best light. I just love how the blue detailing in their rooms popped with Baby Clark’s blue knit cardigan. I always forget how small their fingers and toes seem to be, even as a mom myself!

It is always so special to capture the intimate newborn moments of a couple welcoming their first born home. Being a new parent is SUCH a major adjustment, no matter how much you prepare yourself. I just had the honor of capturing the V family’s newborn session with their baby girl in 2024. Clark is already so grown up and such a cute big brother!
