Jaimie and Josh met by chance the summer of 2009 while Jaimie was home from college and Josh was starting his career. It was a deep friendship that developed over the course of a few summers before developing into a romantic relationship! Fast forward to 2017…Josh popped the question at Glen Ellis Falls after a morning hike. The first of many surprises as they zip lined to the bottom of the mountain where their families were waiting to celebrate! Jaimie and Josh chose Glen Manor for their wedding venue because of its romantic style and grandiose mansion. Not to mention the fact that they both grew up in Portsmouth, RI!
Jaimie’s vision came together at the end with lots of neutral colors, greenery and pops of color to evoke that romantic feeling. What everyone seems to love about a Glen Manor Wedding is that you don’t have to overdecorate. The property speaks for itself! I personally loved the warm glow of all the candles scattered around the property, the vintage rose colored bridesmaid dresses and the beautiful arbor they said “i do” under. But really, my favorite part of Jaimie + Josh’s wedding was their first dance. They danced out onto the back terrace at Glen Manor and it was something special to witness. These two had a connection that few people are lucky enough to have and they just have FUN with each other. Not to mention, Josh was tearing up most of the day. Seriously might just be the sweetest thing to witness in a groom! What an honor it was to capture their romantic Glen Manor Wedding! Congratulations Jaimie + Josh!
