Allie + Conor were one of my covid couples – caught up in the virus’s path, but determined to have the perfect Blithewold Mansion Wedding. They postponed two times before finally being rewarded with a safe and beautiful night in Bristol!

Allie and Conor got ready at Renaissance Hotel which had enough space for their large bridal party. I loved Allie’s invitation suite and elegant details – AMC Weddings is so great about helping me get everything set up beforehand so it’s easy for me to document.

Providence College brought these two together, so it was the perfect venue for them to say their “i dos”. Allie and Conor opted out of a first look and went with the more traditional approach. The tears in Conor’s eyes as Allie walked down the aisle was so heartwarming. And I loved the way they incorporated friends into the ceremony with soloists.

We headed over to Blithewold Mansion for the cocktail hour and reception. It was a beautiful September day overlooking Narragansett Bay. Formal portraits and cocktail hour flew by. I love the little garden off the parking lot for family and bridal party formals. It’s a sweet intimate space with the most incredible florals and arch backdrop. Cocktail hour on the lawn included a raw bar, passed appetizers, and views of the setting sun for guests.

We all walked into the transformed “Bridgerton inspired” tent for the reception. Chandeliers and tule hung from the ceilings with tons of candles scattered throughout. It was a magical setting. Guests danced, ate, and enjoyed the live band. A special performance by the bride at the end of the night was definitely a highlight for us all! The perfect end to this Blithewold Mansion Wedding!
