Boston, MA | January 2023 | Fresh 48 Boston Session
My first ever Fresh 48 Boston Session and I am hooked! Now that hospitals are allowing guests after Covid, Fresh 48s are back in action. While I love newborn sessions, there truly is nothing like a fresh 48. Parents are basking in the “high” that baby is finally earthside and baby is mostly sleeping and looking angelic. What a gift to have someone come capture those first precious moments with your baby.
When I had my daughter Cece in November 2020, the hospital was basically jail. No visitors, no take-out, and no one could leave the room. At all. Not even to take something to the car. Luckily I had my camera in tow and got some sweet photos in the first 48 hours, but man I would have loved to have been IN them as well.
This Fresh 48 holds a special place for me. Kate and I traveled a similar journey with infertility and met on Instagram!! Our babies are both true miracles and it was an honor to capture their unfolding story as a family of 3.
