I think I have probably never laughed as hard as I did with Hope and Dan last weekend! Their Jamestown, RI Engagement Session was your typical winter session: bitter cold, light breeze off the water, and that smoky blue sky with a promise of snow! Props to Hope and Dan for not only braving the cold, but embracing it…AND bringing along hand warmers and champagne to toast the day! Literally those hand warmers saved my LIFE! Best clients ever!
When we started discussing locations for their engagement session, Hope and Dan kept coming back to Jamestown, RI. And I am always up for a trip to Jamestown – literally one of the cutest little seaside towns in Rhode Island! We were able to get so many quintessential Jamestown locations in for our 2 hour session. First we started out at Potter Cove to grab those key shots overlooking the Pell Bridge – luckily that icy wind was picking up just as we were moving on. We then cruised over to the cute Conanicut Marina dock house at the end of the pier which was still in its Christmas finest! Super cute little spot – it screamed classic New England style!
We finished up our session at Beavertail State Park. Luckily we found a little spot on the backside of Beavertail Lighthouse that had us sheltered from the icy wind. Bonus points for getting the best view of the jagged rocks and lighthouse in the background too! A huge shoutout to Hope + Dan for such a fun Saturday afternoon, topped off with champagne on the rocks to celebrate!
