Engagements

An engagement session does much more than provide a few photos for save-the-dates or social media. It helps us build trust before the wedding day. It helps you feel comfortable in front of the camera. Most importantly, it captures a season of life that passes incredibly quickly.

New England weather keeps us on our toes, and that’s exactly what made Liv and Rich’s Newport RI engagement session at Sachuest Point and Third Beach so special.

Lizzie and Jack’s Little Compton engagement session felt like a perfect reflection of summer along the Rhode Island coast. The shoot captured their story in a way that felt just as meaningful. We had soft, diffused light throughout the afternoon, with rays of sun adding warmth at all the right times.

Located just off the coast of Newport and Jamestown, Rose Island rests in the heart of Narragansett Bay. From its shoreline, you can see the span of the Claiborne Pell Newport Bridge, sailboats weaving through Newport Harbor, and Goat Island just across the water. It’s close to everything that makes coastal Rhode Island iconic, yet stepping off the boat feels like entering another world.

Meaghan and Josh’s Beavertail engagement session was one for the books! After what felt like weeks of rain, we finally got a beautiful evening for their session.

Julia and Ryan got engaged in Westerly, so it was only fitting for them to have an Ocean House Engagement Session! Julia put a lot of time and thought into planning this session. Her father lives nearby and so she’s spent a lot of time in the area – Ocean House seemed like the perfect backdrop to celebrate her engagement.
