rowayton holiday engagement session

HANNAH + TREVOR | December 2019 | Rowayton, CT

Serendipity played a major role in Hannah + Trevor meeting! Trevor asked Hannah out for their first date to Rowayton Seafood, which is where Hannah’s parents had their first date!  They hit it off immediately, sharing a love of travel, the water, skiing, and good food. Almost three years later, I photographed their Rowayton holiday engagement session!

This was my first time in Rowayton, CT and let me tell you, it is CHARMING!!  Especially during the holidays. The town is located on the coast of Connecticut, set off the highway from Norwalk. It is incredibly quaint. We strolled along the waterfront, sharing travel stories and our love for preppy clothing. Stopping along the way for photos along the docks, at Rowayton Seafood, and other little shops decked out for the holidays.

One of my favorite things about their Rowayton holiday engagement session was Hannah + Trevor’s red vespa! When we emailed each other to discuss their engagement session, the red vespa was the biggest contender for the shoot. Trevor loves this vespa and wanted to show off his town of Rowayton with it. I was 100% in. It was the perfect fit for the holiday theme too.

We ended their engagement session along the coast of Rowayton at a secluded little beach in town. It was cool with the winter breeze off the water, but the sunset was to die for. We popped some champagne and watched the sun melt across the water. The perfect end to one of the most memorable and fun engagement sessions to date!

So excited to travel back to Rowayton in August for Hannah + Trevor’s wedding!
